Great location. Several places to eat & shop within the area. The hotel is nice & clean. The hotel staff was friendly & welcoming. The rooms are very spacious. The beds are extremely comfortable with plenty of pillows. Fridge & Microwave in the room. One plus was there were plenty of outlets in the room. The hot breakfast was lacking. There weren't many options to choose from. Definitely could have been better. I loved the coffee,hot chocolate & tea bar. Although the breakfast wasn't the best I'd stay again
This is a decent hotel in terms of quality and location, but the service was not fantastic--multiple times I passed by the front desk and nobody was there. I didn't find out until the next day that guests needed parking passes (checked in online and there were no details regarding parking, went to the desk upon arrival and mentioned that I checked in online and the lady working just waved me on.
The rooms were fine but the towels were like sand paper. Staff was pleasant on check in and angry when we checked out at 5am. The location was a bit sketchy but the Golden Nugget of this location was the Hayward Plunge trail that started across the street. As a runner I struggle to find scenic runs in very urban locations. When we pulled in I imagined a not so nice run through some not so nice neighborhoods, but when I saw the park and trail I was pleasantly surprised. It turned out to be about 3.5 miles up hill with about 1500 feet of elevation gain, with the downhill about the same. Overall it was an awesome experience and brightened my day!
Amazing hotel and even better staff! Day manager was an absolute delight as was the continental breakfast host! 12/10 will be back!
Good place to stay for a couple of days, it doesn’t have any bath mats so be prepared for some wet areas. Breakfast is always different but subpar. Free coffee and tea at anytime is a PLUS for me.
Decent and clean. The bed was comfortable and breakfast was good. Staff was friendly and helpful. Several fast food restaurants & take out places nearby
We recently stayed at this hotel for a funeral / to see family. Although there were minor cosmetic issues with the hotel all the staff were friendly and accommodating. Evelyn, at the front desk, was warm, friendly and took great care of us during our stay. The daily morning breakfast was a money saver for our family and something we looked forward to each day. I would stay here again.
The front desk did not let me do a late check out even though I am a diamond member. The room lady did not clean my room as she promised.
